Here at Foxwood Kennels, we have been breeding German shepherd dogs since 1988. Our goal has been to produce German shepherds with the structure of the traditional working class dogs. We feel that many German shepherd breeding programs are producing over angulated dogs with thin legs, long, splayed toes and narrow, collie-like heads. Our breeding standard is comprised of dogs with large bones, big heads, protruding chests and a slight angle. They have large, thick feet with tight toes. While most of our dogs are sold into homes, we also sell to police and rescue groups. Our working class German shepherds have a very stable temperament and are extremely trainable. They make exceptional companion and family pets as well as professional working dogs.
